MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three members of the B-shift at Mossel Bay Police Station have been commended for their excellent work.
Sergeants Jason Pokpass, Luzuko Jantjie and Tarryn Duitsjan recovered a Ford Bantam, which was stolen in Hartenbos on 16 or 17 October.
The vehicle and stolen items were connected to a series of burglaries.
The stolen vehicle and garden chairs are related to a case in Mossel Bay, as well as a case of housebreaking and theft, being investigated by Da Gamaskop Police Station, and a case of possession of stolen items at the KwaNonqaba Police Station.
A 40-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman appeared in court on Monday, 23 October, in connection with these cases. One suspect remains in custody and the bail hearing will be on 8 November.
The second suspect was released and will appear in court when the case resumes.
