GEORGE NEWS - A Woman (40) from Mossel Bay and two female passengers, aged 19 and two years old, were involved in a car accident about 1km from the Glentana offramp on the N2 while driving towards George.
No serious injuries were reported. It is believed that the 40-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle due to visibility issues during a downpour of rain at about 17:30 this afternoon, Wednesday 27 November.
The vehicle came to a standstill next to the road. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Another accident was reported in the Outeniqua Pass just before the Four Passes viewpoint this afternoon. Information about this accident has not been confirmed.
However, eyewitnesses said that a vehicle was lying on its side when they drove past the scene.
