MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Everyone who loves cars will be delighted with a brand new regular event to be held on the first Sunday of each month at The Point in Mossel Bay.
The host of this event is SA HotRods magazine in collaboration with Delfino's and The Kartel Exchange. It is called the Coffee Roundup.
The goal is to get the owners of classic, muscle, custom cars, hot rods and street rods and in the area to take a drive out on a Sunday to enjoy everything regarding motoring.
It also gives people the opportunity to swap stories and advice on car building and restoration as well as show off their cars. The event is free and open to the public. Children are welcome.
The first gathering took place on 3 February and although the rain fell it didn't stop determined petrolheads.
The new yellow Chevy Camaro, made famous by the movie Transformers, was present and the children were thrilled to meet Bumble Bee in person. The next event will take place on 3 March and everyone with a special vehicle is invited to enjoy the outing.
There is also the chance that your car may end up in the next SA HotRods magazine! For more info, contact Joe (071 892 8813).
