MOSSELBAY NEWS AND GALLERY - On Saturday, 7 May the Blaize Away MOTH Shell hole hosted a special celebration for the organisation's 95th birthday.
The Memorable Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H.) was founded in 1927 by Charles Evenden as a brotherhood of South African former front-line soldiers.
The founding took place in Durban and on Saturday, it is an international organisation with shell holes in across Southern Africa and abroad.

The objectives of the organisation is to help comrades in need, either financially or physically; and to remember all servicemen.
The local MOTH members congregated at the Oceans Hotel, with their spouses for a formal dinner on Saturday night to mark this milestone birthday.
This coming Sunday, 15 May the Blaize Away Shell hole is hosting the annual Border Boys Parade at the Cenotaph at 10:45.
The ceremony will include wreath laying to remember those who died in the Bush War.
