MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The body of the 9-year-old boy who went missing at Dias Beach on Wednesday, 6 October has been found by his mother.
Jason Nomdo was reported missing after he played rugby on the beach with his brother, aged seven, when their ball went into the sea.
Jason went to fetch the ball in the water and went missing in the sea.
The seven-year-old then went home to tell his mother what had happened.
The NSRI conducted a search in waters off Dias Beach, near the Two Oceans Hotel but could not find any signs of the missing boy.
Today, at around 13:30 Jason’s mother went to go and search for any signs of him on the beach and in the water. She walked on the beach and found Jason’s body lying on the rocks.
