MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The annual MossMarch, which forms part of the Mossel Bay Sport and Recreation Festival, took place at a cracking pace today.
The marchers set off from the old Power Station building at Santos Beach, along George Street and Louis Fourie Road and then turned back to return to the old Power Station.
Among the participants, there was a serious professional walker, moms with little ones in prams and one participant in a wheelchair.

The weather was overcast, warm and humid. Almost all the walkers managed to get a free T-shirt which was offered to the first 250 people to arrive for the walk.
Mossel Bay town council speaker, Alderman Petru Terblanche, opened the MossMarch with a speech.
He said all who participated were winners, simply for turning up and taking part and that people should enjoy the march and do it at their own pace.
A brass band heralded the start of the march with a tune and they remained to welcome back the walkers with more spirited music.
