MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Business Chamber Awards took place on Friday night.

As usual with the awards, the school children entrepreneurs took centre stage. 

It is special to see what young people are doing in order to be the business people of the future.

With jobs being scarce, even for the those who are exceptionally bright and educated, entrepreneurial skills are important.

People need to aim to start businesses and to be self employed.

Here are the adult award winners:

- Small business winner: Juanita Terblanche
- Medium business winner: Fiona Williamson
- Large business winner: Coastal Companies
- Business person of the year: Dudley Woolridge  
- Ambassador of the year for Mossel Bay: Albert Wiffen
