Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The 22-year-old man accused of raping male Ext 8 dog Caesar appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 29 September.
The case was postponed to 19 October, when it is expected to continue in the regional court.
A case of bestiality was reported to the Da Gamaskop Police on 16 June and the man was arrested shortly after.
He appeared in the magistrate’s court two days later and was released on a warning.
Members of the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch and supporters appeared outside the court for each of the accused’s appearance, carrying signs advocating against animal abuse.
