HARTENBOS NEWS - Johan Vermeulen (72), whose family last saw him on Monday 18 May, was found dead yesterday evening, 21 May.
A Hartenbos neighbourhood watch found Vermeulen’s body in the area at about 18:00 last night and contacted the police. The paramedics declared him dead on the scene.
A Southern Cape Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Chris Spies, said the Da Gamaskop Police Station have opened an inquest docket, and no foul play is suspected.
