MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Pedal Power Association (PPA) was founded in 1976 and is committed to promoting cycling and the interests of cyclists.

It is the largest recreational cycling organisation in South Africa with about 16 000 paid-up members. The largest component is in the Western Cape.

On Heritage Day, a mass ride for local cyclists was organised by PPA and a large group participated in the 27km trip to Brandwag and back. The event also formed part of the Mossel Bay Sports Festival.
