MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality’s Local Economic Development office facilitates community markets in several wards to create trading opportunities for entrepreneurs.
One of these markets is the Heart Market in Harry Giddey Park.
This is held monthly on the last Saturday of the month. Stalls can be booked at a cost of R50. This goes towards providing live entertainment on market day.
Application forms are available from the Local Economic Development Office at the Goods Shed. This market will resume in November, when the park reopens after tree felling.
Also in November is the community market in KwaNonqaba on 4 November. The market takes place from 09:00 to 15:00.
Stalls are offered free of charge. Application forms are available from the Goods Shed or the LED office, based at the Thusong Centre.
