MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Lutho Gaveni was sentenced to 13 years behind bars last Wednesday, 28 January, for the 2024 murder of Ricardo Petersen.
Gaveni fatally stabbed Petersen in JCC Camp, Mossel Bay, on 28 September 2024.
The Da Gamaskop Police arrested Gaveni on 6 October that year.
He pleaded not guilty on 19 November last year, however, the Thembalethu Regional Court found him guilty the next day.
He was then sentenced to 13 years’ direct imprisonment. It was also ruled that he was unfit to possess a firearm.
