MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Da Gamaskop Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of a pedestrian on the N2 near the Hartenbos turn-off yesterday afternoon, 9 September.
A Western Cape police spokesperson, Constable Ndakhe Gwala, said the pedestrian, a 32-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries following an accident on the road. He was declared dead at the scene.
She said the incident took place at about 14:00 and that the circumstances surrounding it are under investigation.
The identity of the man has not been formally released by the police at this stage.
