MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 30-year-old man, identified by police as Jonathan Malgas, was fatally stabbed in Johnson Street, Asla Park in Mossel Bay, last night, 22 January.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, says a case of murder has been opened and is being investigated by Warrant Officer Geoffrey Moos.
Kapp says police responded to reports that a man had been stabbed in Johnson Street at about 23:00.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Malgas with multiple stab wounds. He was declared dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
Kapp says the motive for the murder is still being investigated. He says the police are confident an arrest will be made soon, once more information on the murder comes to light.
