MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two well-known Mossel Bay locals, Christiaan Stopforth and Shane Snyman, took the boat they will use to compete in this year's Trans Agulhas Challenge (TAC) out for its very first test spin at Santos Beach on Saturday 7 March.
They are both volunteers for the National Sea Rescue Institute.
Stopforth told Mossel Bay Advertiser he had participated in the 2023 challenge as a co-pilot and was now taking the challenge up again, but this time, as the head of the team.
"It is such a great sport," he said.
