MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Local author Sharon Brummer has written three books in a series, which are sure to entertain children.

They are written for the ages four to eight.

The books are Deke Moonboy, Deke the Astronaut and Deke and the Martians. Deke is a little boy who wants to be an astronaut. Every night he visits outer space.

The books allow children to experience adventures with Deke.

Brummer says children can laugh with Deke as he makes strange friends: Luna, the little green moonboy; Buffalo Bill who lives in a cave on the moon; and Robbie Rabbit, whose fluffy tail is always bobbing up and down.

She says: "Education can be fun. Learn all about outer space while having fun with Deke."
