MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Following an excellent holiday season that provided a much-needed economic boost to Mossel Bay and surrounds, it is back to the daily grind for some.
Private schools this week welcomed their learners and at Curro Mossel Bay, the newbies in grades 1 and 8 were bright eyed and eager to tackle the educational challenges of 2022.
In the photograph, Curro Mossel Bay's Grade 8s are wearing their special hats made of recycled materials as part of a teambuilding activity.

Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga announced this week that educational challenges due to Covid-19 may still include rotating classes. Motshekga urged for a higher vaccination rate among the school community.
Government schools in the Western Cape reopen next week.
