MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A highly successful first meeting of religious leaders in Mossel Bay was held this week to discuss a day of prayer.
This followed the executive mayor of Mossel Bay, Alderman Harry Levendal's wish for this day of prayer for Mossel Bay.
The mayor was specific that the prayer meeting should be inter-denominational, and that no person of any faith group in Mossel Bay should be excluded on any basis.
Religious leaders met on Tuesday, 12 March and a committee was formed to reflect on the initiative and assist with efforts to arrange the day of prayer.
These church leaders met on Tuesday evening, 12 March, to help plan the executive mayor, Alderman Harry Levendal's proposed day of prayer.
