MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police, in cooperation with the Mossel Bay Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit and officials of the Mossel Bay Municipal Traffic Department celebrated the youth as part of the national Child Protection and Youth Month focus.
The outreach to youngsters in Asla Park was a great success, with the toddlers and young children being given a chance to interact in a friendly fashion with officers of the law.
Some of the highlights of the day included an informative visit by Danny Cat, who spoke about and demonstrated the need for road safety, as well as a short march through the neighbourhood to emphasise the importance of the youth to the larger community.
Spokesperson for the KwaNonqaba police, Sgt Kapp, thanks all the roleplayers for their contribution to make it a memorable day for the young people of Asla Park.
