Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The man accused of killing well-known KwaNonqaba residents Nwabisa Baliso (46) and Luvuyo Mgwelana (43) last November has pleaded guilty to both murders in the Mossel Bay Regional Court on 9 September, and is set to be sentenced on 26 October.
Vusumzi Ntsodolo (49) was arrested on 8 November shortly after Mgwelana's body was found in his Mfuleni home and Baliso's in her Bantom Street home.
He had first appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on 11 November. That day, several of Baliso and Mgewelana's friends and family members appeared outside the court, holding signs protesting against Ntsodolo being granted bail.
Ntsodolo abandoned his bail application and has remained behind bars since.
