KWANONQABA NEWS - Following a number of police operations conducted in KwaNonqaba over the previous weekend, the KwaNonqaba Police have confiscated over 600L of alcohol from several illegal taverns and have arrested multiple people in the process.
The alcohol will be temporarily stored on the station's grounds while the police await instructions from the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court.
Depending on the court's ruling, the owner(s) of the taverns may be required to pay a fine, or the products might be destroyed.
These incidents are under further investigation by the KwaNonqaba Police.
The station's management has commended its members for their work that led to the confiscations and arrests.
