MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Members of the Junior Town Council (JTC) participated in a team-building experience during a hike on the scenic St Blaize Trail in Mossel Bay on Saturday, 27 August.
The junior councillors were accompanied by members of the Mossel Bay Municipality's Youth Development Office, who play an integral part in developing these young leaders.
The JTC consists of two representatives from each high school in Mossel Bay and hosts monthly meetings to discuss issues pertaining to the youth.
The JTC members regularly embark on campaigns and projects that address challenges in the community or among the youth.
In September, the JTC will be supporting an anti-suicide campaign and establish mentorship platforms at schools.
