MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Social presents a new initiative to support members of the community who struggle with drug and alcohol dependence.
An information session is held on 29 June at 10:00 in Great Brak River at the Youth Café to introduce interested parties in joining the Social Work Volunteer Expansion Programme.
During the meeting and introduction will be given to the Local Drug Action Committee. This committee consists of organisations and individuals who provide services to members or the community struggling with substance dependency, as well as their families. The volunteer programme will be explained and training opportunities, as needed will be arranged.
