Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Jason-Kirk Damon has been found and is safe.
Damon's mother, Claudine Damon Patel, said her son was spotted walking on the highway between Suurbrak and Heidelberg earlier today by a friend.
She said the friend immediately contacted her. She said Jason's father was in Swellendam when the message came through that Jason had been seen.
Claudine said that he informed the traffic officials and police in Swellendam of this new information and then started driving toward Suurbrak. This was when he found Jason.
Claudine thanked those who helped in sharing information that led to the safe return of her son.
