MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay photographer Frieda van der Walt sent us this photograph of a fiery display of aloes in Dana Bay.
Each year Frieda, who owns Gemini Model and Talent Agency, takes photographs of her models in nature - hugging trees in Harry Giddey Park and posing next to aloes and in the yellow canola fields south of Mossel Bay.
It's aloe season right now and the countryside is ablaze with orange aloes.
Healing and calming
She notes that it is proven that being in nature is healing and calming, lessening depression and anxiety.
"Those who believe in a creator God feel closer to Him when they are in natural settings," Frieda says.
