MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay's Isalathiso Primary School's U13 netball team made it all the way to the finals of an annual primary school sport tournament held in George on Saturday 26 July.
This annual tournament, which focuses on soccer and netball, is organised by the Dreamfields Project, an organisation that helps create opportunities for children in schools across the country to thrive in sports.
Isalathiso's sport co-ordinator, Mvelo Golimpi, said the team played against Thembalethu's Tyholora Primary School during the finals, but lost the game 7-3.
"Our school is so delighted with our girls' performance," said Golimpi.
"We also want to thank the organisers, Dreamfields, for giving our young kids the exposure and the opportunity to participate in sport events."
