Every month they conduct an outreach of some type in the community.
The team is led by Hagan Mitchell and Mitch Meyer is the project coordinator.
The outreach started at 14:00 on Saturday, 25 May.
Ingredients
It was called the Jar of Hope Project. For example, there are pulses, such as split peas or lentils; barley; packet soup; and a stock cube in one Jar of Hope.
The Breakthrough Team also handed out hot soup and bread as part of their initiative.
The team's projects are a Christian initiative and at Mountain View, Hagan gave a talk based on the Word of God to the residents.
There was a short programme for the afternoon's outreach, Mitch said.
