MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A learner from Hillcrest Secondary School in Mossel Bay was injured in an accident on his way to school this morning.
The accident happened just before 08:00 in Louis Fourie Road between the Essenhout Street traffic light and the turnoff to Mossel Bay Correctional Services.
The learner lost control of his Volkswagen Golf in the direction of Mossel Bay and veered off the embankment on the left.
He was attended to by paramedics and taken to the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital.
According to his sister on the scene, he sustained only minor injuries.
Emergency services were on the scene and the road has been cleared.
