MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three young Mossel Bay actresses have reason to celebrate.

Kemieke Derwig (14) and Simoné Botha (17) have received partial bursaries for drama training in the Speeltoneel project, whereby young people are coached by well-known actors from the TV shows, Suidooster and Binnelanders.

Sesona Foli (16), who received her partial bursary previously, was in Cape Town during the weekend of 17 and 18 April for a Speeltoneel workshop, where she was coached by actress Desiré Gardner, who acts as the character Carmen, in Suidooster.

The workshop was held at Melkbosstrand Private School in Cape Town. Simoné had some extra good news this week, when she was notified by SA Youth TV that she had been chosen to represent her province in the SA Youth TV Live your dream SA Youth Awards.

The three young Mossel Bay actresses are all signed with Gemini Model and Talent Agency in town.
