MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A Mossel Bay resident, Jacques Lombaard, would like to help drug addicts in the area.
He was an addict for 16 years so he has empathy with drug users, he says.
Lombaard says drugs are cheaper than food.
Addicts buy a small amount of drugs which keeps them going for a few days, he says. The drugs give them the feeling of being fed, so that addicts do not feel hunger pangs.
Lombaard says he sees many drug addicts on Mossel Bay streets.
He has started two NPOs.
