MOSSEL BAY NEWS - With an eye on improving community safety always, members of the Mossel Bay Mayoral Committee rolled up their sleeves on Mandela Day, 18 July, and assisted in repainting the helipad at the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital.
This facility forms part of the Mossel Bay Municipality's community safety contingency plan. During the visit the executive mayor, Alderman Dirk Kotzé, accompanied by councillors Anton Dellemijn (portfolio chairman for Infrastructure Services) and Leon van Dyk (portfolio chair for Community Safety) also engaged with hospital staffers as they took an informal walk through the facilities with Dr Jaco Botma, the medical manager, Mossel Bay sub-district.
It was "all hands on deck" in the painting of the helipad.
