MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Hillcrest Secondary School's Matric Class of 2024 celebrated upon receiving their matric results at the school's hall today, 14 January.
With a pass rate of 88.8% for the exams, Hillcrest Secondary's staff congratulated the matrics for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.
For those who did not pass, the staff reminded them that it is not the end of the world, and there will be a second chance this May and June to write again and redeem themselves.

The school's top achiever was Ayakha Gulwa, who achieved seven distinctions and an outstanding average of 91%.
The subject that had learners achieve the most amount of distinctions was isiXhosa Home Language with 12 distinctions, followed by Business Studies, with seven learners achieving distinctions, and then Tourism, with six distinctions.
