MOSSEL BAY NEWS - It was a glamourous extravaganza of high heels, tiaras, diamante and sequins.
This is the best way to describe this year's crowning of Miss Gay South Cape and Klein Karoo held in aid of Child Welfare this past weekend.
Divas from all over the region strutted their stuff, vying for the coveted title at the Mossel Bay town hall on Saturday and as usual, the audience came out in numbers to support them. Former title winner Samantha Hugh from Mossel Bay, was the presenter and often had the audience in stitches with her typical razor-sharp humour. Jekerah Jones walked away with the title this year.
The first princess was Stacy Lee Ross and the second, Layla Demi-Lee Campbell.
One of the guests a former princess, Andrea Alexis.
