MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Create some fun this February by entering yourself or your child - or both of you - in a Valentine's pageant.
There are several categories: Miss Petite Love (three to six years), Mr Cupid (three to seven years), Miss Junior Valentine (seven to 12 years), Miss Valentine (13 to 25 years) and Mr Valentine (16 to 25 years).
All the proceeds from the pageant will go to sending Mossel Bay actress Zoë Fortuin to the States to enter the World Championships of Performing Arts there this year.
Zoë won multiple awards in the SA Championships of Performing Arts last year and secured at place at the world championships. She attends Hillcrest Secondary School.
The cost to enter the Valentine's pageant is R250 per entry and the deadline to enter is 12 February.

The top three finalists will be announced on the Gemini Facebook page on 14 February. The crowning takes place at Erika Primary School on Saturday, 26 February.
Winners will receive a sash and a crown. The judges will be Frieda van der Walt (Gemini), Berenice Kogana (Mrs South Africa top 100 semi-finalist), Vuyo Mfumbe (Mr Western Province Ambassador) and Vinolia Snoek (Miss Garden Route 2021/22).

High tea
Also, a high tea is being held at 15:00 on 26 February to raise funds for Zoe to go overseas. The tea takes place at Erika Primary School. Tickets cost R100. For more information, contact Deidre (081 055 8083).
