MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay resident Kelly Fourie has been appointed as an independent non-executive on the national board of the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).
The NSRI AGM was held at Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town and that was when Fourie heard the good news.
"It is with heartfelt gratitude that I announce my appointment as an independent non-executive director. I am eager to contribute my expertise and work collaboratively with the NSRI board and management to continue elevating the organisation's impact and reach."
Fourie says the opportunity to serve in a role additional to her role as a volunteer crew member is in incredible honour and privilege, by which she is sincerely humbled.
"Thank you to each and every member of the board, the CEO, NSRI management, station commanders and volunteer crew from my own Station 15 Mossel Bay and all the other stations across the country for believing in me and placing your trust in me. I am committed to getting to know each of you and to serving you and the NSRI to the best of my ability."
