MOSSEL BAY NEWS - There was a collision on the R328 between a truck and utility vehicle this evening and four people were taken to hospital after the crash.
The R328 is between Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.
Western Cape Government Health: Garden Route and Central Karoo spokesperson Nadia Ferreira said emergency medical services teams transported the four to hospital.
The crash took place just beyond Sonskynvallei, if one is travelling from Mossel Bay in the direction of Oudtshoorn, near the entrance to the company, Transand Group. Transand is a plant and machinery hire establishment.
Mossel Bay Municipality noted at 18:30 that a lane was closed on the R328 because of the accident.
The temporary lane closure affected traffic moving towards Mossel Bay.
Traffic officials were at the scene to direct traffic at that stage, the municipality noted.
At 19:10, Provincial Traffic chief in Mossel Bay Reinet Sarikakis said the road had been cleared and the lane was open again.
