MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A foreign national, Rabatu Kadre Ezjudy was murdered in Stuurman Street, Asla Park on Saturday, 9 March.
Police were notified by the provincial hospital that the murdered man, from Ethiopia, was taken to the hospital's casualty unit with a stab wound to his upper body. Ezjudy died while in hospital.
Upon further investigation, it was found that Ezjudy was stabbed in a spaza shop when he tried to prevent the perpetrator from stealing from the shop.

- In an unrelated incident, Simnik E Jaxa was assaulted with an unknown object in Dube Street, Endlovini.
He was rushed to hospital, where he received treatment for an open wound above his left ear, as well as for bleeding from his mouth and for swollen eyes.
