MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management Services crews are attending to a vegetation fire in Friemersheim.
At 14:00 today, Mossel Bay Helicopters were busy with aerial firefighting on the northwestern flank. Firefighting crews are busy on the western flank. Additional resources have been dispatched to the incident.
The fire is burning in the area on the right-hand side as one enters Fremersheim.
Jonkersberg Working on Fire team is currently on the scene. A new crew that will be assisting with mopping up the fire lines for exposure and experience.
