MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The fire at the waste transfer station on Louis Fourie Road, opposite Asla Park/KwaNonqaba, is still burning this morning.
The smoke is not blowing over the road as it was yesterday, so visibility on Louis Fourie Road is not affected today.
Mossel Bay Municipality noted last night that firefighters had battled the fire all day yesterday.
Today the fire is still burning at the rubbish transfer station and it can be smelt as far as the central business district in Mossel Bay.
It could be smelt as far as Hartenbos yesterday.
Mossel Bay Municipality noted that the public can find updates on the fire on its social media platforms.
