MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The iOcean Investment Trust is holding a special film screening event to raise funds.
It will include the premier of the documentary, The last shark.
The event will take place at the Santos Express train conference venue at Santos Beach from 17:30 until 20:30 on Tuesday, 5 December. Tickets cost R150 each.
iOcean Investment Trust is a foundation dedicated to empowering young people to become leaders "through the transformative power of nature", according to Sophumelela Qoma, the founder and director of the trust.
"Our initiatives in Mossel Bay have made and will continue to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals and we are eager to continue this work and expand our programmes nationally and internationally."
Swimming lessons
Recently the trust held swimming lessons for young people. It promotes marine conservation awareness among the youth.
The films to be screened are not readily available, so the screening is a special occasion for film buffs, according to Qoma. The other films to be shown are: Rise from the Cape Flats, Ulwandle Lushile and Hluleka.
There will be complimentary drinks and the opportunity to network at the event.
