Female police soccer players reach out

At every opportunity the police officers engaged with the local community to share valuable crime prevention information.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS & VIDEO - SA Police female soccer players this week congregated in Mossel Bay for their annual national tournament.

So far the ladies from the Western Cape is still in the lead, says Thandi Nkhwashu, the SAPSFA Deputy Secretary General.

This morning members of the 10 participating teams are on a crime prevention and awareness outreach in KwaNonqaba.

The very fit team members sported their provincial colours while they walked through Asla Park and other areas of KwaNonqaba where they used every opportunity to engage with local residents to share crime prevention tips and handed out brochures with important contact numbers.

They were escorted by Sergeant Kapp and Warrant Officer De Villiers of the KwaNonqaba Police.
