MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Erika Primary School pulled out all the stops in creating an appropriate celebration of the centenary of former president Nelson Mandela's birth on Mandela Day - with song, dance and drama.
The latest edition to the school's extramural offering is the drill squad, which had its first performance at the school.

Learners recited poems honouring the former head of state, hailing him as "father of the nation", while a special play was written and performed to educate the learners on why Madiba was deserving of this worthy title.
The choir also performed, but it was the traditional dance group that was rewarded with thunderous applause for its contribution to the programme.
The choir performed a popular number.
