MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Ladies aged 16 and older are reminded to enter the Dream Girl SA competition.
It is a national entrepreneurial empowerment and charity-based competition. Call Elize van Vuuren (079 475 4449) before 15 November to enter the competition.
Elize is the local, Garden Route region agent for the national competition.
Entrants accumulate points through tasks and the one with the most points will be the national winner. Three semi-finalists chosen from each region will go through to the national competition.
The final for the national competition will be held in October 2022
There will be attractive prizes for the regional finalists including valuable vouchers and other giveaways. Also, those who enter will automatically take part in free workshops and a free self-defence course.
National prizes:
- A social media platform that will be managed for the winner to the value of R24 000.
- A automatic, free entry into an apprenticeship programme for young women in business.
- Stationery to the value of R2 500.
- Beauty products to the value of R5 000 and much more.
The objective is to equip young women with knowledge and to teach them the skill of entrepreneurship.
"In order to grow, you need to give. That is why we do charity fundraising," says national competition organiser Tereza Troskie-Herbst, who was Mrs SA 2000 and Mrs World International 2002.
