MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The driver of the vehicle which fell several metres from a ledge down the cliffside at the St Blaize Lighthouse was not injured.
The crash took place last night. Mossel Bay Advertiser was sent a photograph of the vehicle at about 20:00. The picture was posted on a Facebook site at 19:35.
Mossel Bay Advertiser heard from a reliable source that the driver was not hurt.
He escaped with "barely a scratch", the source said.
The Advertiser was told that the driver was reversing and then the vehicle tipped over the ledge, down the cliffside and landed below the lighthouse.
It was a private security company vehicle.
The Advertiser is still awaiting comment from the police.
