MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Whales have been spotted close to shore over the past two weeks.

Two Friedas - Frieda van der Walt and her mother Frieda Prinsloo - who are both photographers, enjoyed a spot of whale watching at Hartenbos on Thursday, 3 August.

They were particularly pleased to see the whales because it was Prinsloo's 76th birthday. What a wonderful birthday treat. They had a whale of a time.

They had gone for a drive to celebrate the birthday.
