MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Berenice Kogana, who organises and hosts conferences for women, recently held an interesting event in Mossel Bay, in which women were empowered practically, while having fun.
The keynote speaker, Zandile Pooe, a business woman from Gauteng, spoke on the topic, Being an excellent woman.
Menopause
Dr Renay Moodien spoke about menopause and Lenise Hendricks (70), a local who had a provincial role as an education specialist with a list of credentials and achievements, spoke on the topic, Wisdom that comes with age.
Liezl van Wyk, of the company, Tactical 300, gave a talk on self defence and the women tried out self defence moves.
Confidence
Elani Pretorius, the owner and director of ACE Models George and Mossel Bay, spoke on body posture and confidence; again, the attendees had the chance to put what they learnt into practice, walking like models.
There was much laughter and camaraderie at the function and the women found it relaxing and uplifting.
