MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Dropping the ball and winning is hardly heard of, but the Mayoral Golf Day seems to be the exception to this rule.
Although all the four-ball alliances have been sold for this event on 23 September, you can still join.
A helicopter ball-drop will be done and the golf ball landing closest to the pin will secure its owner a minimum of R2 500 in cash. The bonus is, the more balls sold, the higher the prize money.
Anyone can buy a numbered golf ball at R100 each. You do not have to be present on the day to see if you got lucky, since the announcement will be streamed live on the Mossel Bay Municipality’s Facebook page from 17:00. The winner will be contacted by the golf day organiser.
All funds raised go towards the Mayoral Fund which is used to support worthy causes.
Golf balls at R100 each are available from Rónell du Toit (044 606 5000 / rdutoit@mosselbay.gov.za).
The event takes place at the Mossel Bay Golf Course.
