MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Danie Koch took these photographs of a dassie resting on a hot car in Wassung Street, in central Mossel Bay.
It's not only people who have enjoyed basking in the unusually hot weather over the past week or two, but wildlife as well.
Danie said: "A car bonnet was the ideal place for the dassie to enjoy the sun."
