MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) is holding a special exhibition from 5 to 8 June at the Bartolomeu Dias Museum Educational Centre in Mossel Bay.
The purpose of the exhibition is to portray various marine animals (models) and educate and inspire learners regarding marine science, ocean conservation and the vital work of the DFFE.
The exhibition will also serve to provide information on careers in environmental fields and showcase diverse pathways within marine sciences.
Career opportunities
Presentations on career opportunities and bursaries in the DFFE and in combatting ocean pollution will be presented to groups that make group bookings between 09:00 and 14:00.
The department invites you to visit the exhibition to celebrate National Environment Month in June, focused on World Oceans Day, which will be celebrated on 8 June, with the theme, "Waves of Change: Collective Action for the Ocean".
