MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Residents in the Mossel Bay area have taken to social media to express their dismay at round, plastic nurdles washing up on beaches.
On the Facebook page, Growing up in Mossel Bay, a photograph was posted of Hartenbos Beach on Sunday, 4 October.
There are plastic nurdles all over the sand.
On the Mosselbaai op sy beste Facebook page, also on Sunday, 4 October, there is a photograph of nurdles washed on the sand at Kanon.
Nurdles are used in packaging.
